Friday Night Feats

State Farm is sponsoring a video highlight contest called Friday Night Feats.  Between now and 11/22/09 please have everyone that you know go to
Friday Night Feats YouTube channel to view and rate all of the Hickory Ridge High School football video highlights.  To become a finalist, a video highlight must receive a minimum of 25 ratings.  The winner will be determined by the number of ratings, the overall rating, and the number of views, all in that order .  Rate each Hickory Ridge High School highlight a 5 and then view a highlight as many times as you can.  There can only be one winning highlight from our school. 


If you do not have a YouTube account, please get one.  It is free and it is easy.  This is a fun and easy way for Hickory Ridge High School to win a lot of money and get a lot of exposure.  The winning school wins $15,000.  There is second and third place prizes as well.  By just becoming one of two finalists in our region Hickory Ridge High School will receive $2,500.  So far we are one of only four high schools participating in our area.  To find all about it go to:

Charlotte Obeserver Player of the Week

Congratulations to Brian Baltimore for being the Charlotte Observer's 3A Football Player of the Week.  Brian had 354 yards and 3 touchdowns in Friday night's victory over conference rivalry JM Robinson.  The Hickory Ridge Ragin Bulls finished second place in the SPC conference and are in the NCHSAA 3AA Playoffs.  You can read about it in the Sports section of today's issue of the Charlotte Observer. You can also read about it on their website at
